All scientific articles submitted to the editorial board of the «Herald of the Pedagogical University. Series of natural sciences» are necessarily reviewed by specialists in the field.
The manuscript of a scientific article submitted to the editorial board of the journal is first checked by the executive secretary for compliance with the journal's subject matter and the established requirements for the design of scientific articles (“Rules for the design of articles”). If the manuscript of the article does not meet the requirements, it will be returned to the author before being sent for review to eliminate the existing remarks. After preliminary verification, the manuscripts of the articles are sent for review.
Members of the editorial board of the journal are involved in the review process, and, if necessary, other scientists and specialists with sufficient experience in the field of scientific research in this field. The review period for submitted articles is from two weeks to one month. The volume of the review is at least one sheet.
The review should contain an analysis of the content of the article and its objective assessment, including relevance, scientific novelty, and practical significance. The reviewer submits to the editorial board of the journal a motivated conclusion about the advisability of publishing the manuscript without changes, with revision, or rejection of the article. In case of a positive review, the article is considered accepted for publication.
If the review contains a recommendation for revision of the manuscript of the article, it will be returned to the author with the reviewer's comments. The author must eliminate all remarks in the final version of the manuscript or partially or completely reject them with arguments, submitting to the editorial board of the journal the corrected text with an indication of the edits and additions along with its original version. After revision, the article is reviewed again, and the editorial board of the journal makes a decision on its publication.
The order of publication of articles is determined by the date of receipt of their final version. Articles devoted to current scientific problems, as well as containing fundamentally new information, may be published out of turn by decision of the editorial board.
Authors of articles that are not recommended for publication by reviewers are notified about this within 10 days after receiving a negative review. Articles rejected on the recommendation of reviewers will not be reconsidered.
The review of manuscripts is confidential. Reviewers are not allowed to copy manuscripts for their own needs. Reviewers and employees of the journal editorial board do not have the right to use the information contained in them in their personal interests until the manuscripts are published.
Reviews are kept in the editorial office of the journal for 5 years. Upon receipt of a corresponding request, the editorial board of the journal undertakes to submit copies of reviews to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan or the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
